Connect your own SMTP server

Expected: 2026 Requested by: 37 users

Send documents through your own mail server and from your own email address.

We are working on the option to connect your own SMTP server, so that documents are sent from your email address rather than from Numbero.

How will it work?

  • In the company’s email settings, you will be able to choose Numbero’s automatic sending or your own SMTP server.
  • You will enter the server address, port, encryption type, username and password, as well as the sender name, email and reply-to address.
  • Once configured, you will be able to test the connection with a single click.
  • Both documents you send manually and recurring documents will be sent through your server.
  • The document history will show that the email was handed over to your SMTP server.

If SMTP is not configured or you switch it off, documents will be sent from Numbero as before.

If this option is important to you, vote for it — it helps us set priorities.

Sending e-invoices

Expected: 2027 Requested by: 1 user

Send e-invoices to clients’ e-addresses and via the PEPPOL network directly from Numbero.

We are working on the ability to send e-invoices directly from the Numbero platform to official e-invoice receiving channels: e-addresses and the PEPPOL network. This means e-invoices will no longer need to be sent separately through the state-provided e-address channels.

Who will this be useful for?

  • Companies that need to send e-invoices to their clients in a structured format.
  • Those who issue invoices to state and municipal institutions.
  • Those who work with foreign clients who receive e-invoices via the PEPPOL network.
  • Those who currently download e-invoices from Numbero and manually upload them to another system.

How will it work?

  • When sending an invoice, in addition to email, you will be able to choose the option "Send to e-address".
  • You will enter the recipient’s e-address, check the message content, and send the e-invoice.
  • The same data that is sent by email will be sent to the e-address.
  • We plan for the document history to show whether the e-invoice has been sent and received.
  • Sending by email will continue to work as before.

If this feature is important to you, please vote for it, as this helps us set priorities.

Two-factor authentication

Expected: 2026 Requested by: 3 users

Extra account protection with a second step at sign-in.

We are working on two-factor authentication (2FA) to make your Numbero account even more secure.

How will it work?

  • After entering your password, sign-in must be confirmed with a one-time code;
  • The code can be received in an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator);
  • Two-factor authentication can be enabled and managed in the account security settings.

If this option is important to you, vote for it — it helps us set priorities.
